Discussion Topic: Dream-building

Did you know that identifying your dreams is a fundamental step in the process of forming a good self image? Your identity is not only formed by  all the experiences that you have endured, but also your identity is determined by the direction you are headed.

The only way to discover the road to where you're going is to have a destination in mind. If you have nowhere in mind, you will get there every time!

Post your dreams and ambitions in the comments.  Practice dream-building. No dream is too big!

  1. Dreams, huh? Well, all I have on my dream so far is to get a job working under some great animators like Pendelton Ward, creator of Adventure Time, and J.G Quintel, the creator of Regular show. Should I strive for a bit more or do I reach for the stars in the first lines of this comment?

Dear teacher, this is my proposal to you:
I would love for you to have a lot of energy & be outgoing & just have fun with the class. My teacher should be able to not only talk to us about math, English, etc. but about the wonders of this universe. Mostly give us stories & experiences you’ve had in your life & lessons you’ve learned that you would like for us to know & follow that will help us through our journeys in life. You can help us in many ways, not only teaching us & helping us learn but helping us understand another side of you & about life. I would appreciate if you would play games with us ( obviously educational ) that would teach us new things & different ways to solve problems. I want a teacher who loves to teach who will show us why he/she had become a teacher in the first place. Play music, talk to us as if you’re our therapist, share stories, set examples on what to do & what not to do for future references, just be a great teacher. 
    Sincerely, Elizabeth Bremer 
    Your lovely student

  3. I guess one of my big dreams is to be able to fundraise money for kids who need medical help and cannot get it because of financial problems. I would also love to travel around the world, but not just for vacation or to simply visit new places, but to actually help people a long the way, specially countries where kids need help, not just medical-wise but also educational.
